Isn’t it funny after a long cold Winter, how you notice the little signs that Spring is slowly but surely on its way? Even the littlest flowers, normally considered a weed or pest, are a welcome sight.
I was in the garden most of the day yesterday. It is FINALLY consistently warm enough for the ground to be tilled and put in its familiar rows. Of course I had several helpers.
What is it about a garden that is so satisfying? The feel of the earth underneath your fingernails, that’s what. Something tangible. Something alive. It is a good feeling.
